The 9th Stendhal Festival takes place in the Roe Valley, Northern Ireland, now with added Thursday, from Thursday 15th until Saturday 17th August 2019.

Combining music, art, dance, sculpture, poetry, and a host of other activities, this is a family friendly event that embraces the ethos of community, discovering different genres of art and above all, having a good time.

Line-up

Acts include Basement Jaxx (DJ set), Hothouse Flowers, Damien Dempsey , David Keenan, Roe, Mary Coughlan, Ryan Vail and Elma Orkestra, Talos , Hunkpapa, Malojian, Amy Montgomery, Sugarwolf, Kila, Ciaran Lavery, Cormac Neeson, and more, plus comedy from Phill Jupitus and more.

In addition to the music on show over four stages, Stendhal Festival will also play host to a varied family programme of events for the kids to enjoy, art work, sculpture, a craft market, digital art installations, a fun fair and many more surprises.

The festival has teamed up with NI Science Festival, who will bring exciting shows including Scientific Sue, Superhero Science and Ready, Steady Science's Ugly Animal Roadshow, and more.

The festival intends to ensure the audience is kept undercover in the event of inclement weather.
