SO Festival 2014

SO Festival is a week-long travelling festival, running from Saturday 28th June to Sunday 6th July, and travels between Skegness and the market towns of East Lindsey.

This is  a FREE event, with a huge variety of different events taking place ranging from a BBC introducing concert, dance acts, street theatre, large-scale outdoor illuminations and fire and light spectaculars.

SO Festival 2014 is East Lindsey’s biggest celebration of art, culture and sport - offering an array of free family events, and something for everyone. Visitors can enjoy everything from street theatre, live music and dance performances through to large-scale fire and light spectaculars. The market towns are transformed into visual wonderlands, showcasing incredible illuminations, projections from the Sprite Symphony, Echo Funnel and Insect Circus.

Inspired by transport, journeys and travel, this year’s extravaganza will revive the centuries old tradition of travelling entertainment, curiosities and wonderment as SO Festival once again visits East Lindsey’s market towns.

Starting in Horncastle on 28th June, SO Festival will visit Tattershall Castle, Woodhall Spa, Alford, Louth, Mablethorpe and Spilsby before arriving in Skegness for the festival finale over Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th July.
