Siren Festival 2016

The third Siren Festival takes place again in various locations around the 15th century town of Vasto, in Italy happening from Friday 21st to Sunday 24th July 2016.

Featuring independent, alternative music including Editors, I CanI, The Notwist, Adam Green, A.R. Kane, Calcutta, Nosaj Thing, Gold Panda, The Thurston Moore Group, Powell (live), Josh T. Pearson, Ry X, Tess Parks, Joan Thiele, Marco Passarani, Cosmo, Francesco Motta, The Parrots, Holy Strays, Yakamoto Kotzuga, His Clancyness, Pop X, Rodion, Lee Ranaldo, Adam Green, and Aladdin.

Tickets are priced from 60 euros plus booking fee for a Weekend Ticket (Friday & Saturday).

The locations include location Piazza del Popolo, Cortile Palazzo D’Avalos, Giardini D’Avalos, Chiesa di San Giuseppe, Siren Beach, and Porta San Pietro.

Siren Fest partners with groups such as Slow Food Abruzzo and local vintners to provide festival attendees artisanal local specialities and wines.

Combined with pristine Green Flag beaches and local recreational activities such as swimming, biking, boating, snorkelling, fishing and hiking.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.

Getting there

There are several convenient travel options to Siren. The Abruzzo Airport in Pescara has direct flights from London, Paris, Brussels, Frankfurt, Dusseldorf, Milan and Bergamo. Vasto is a short bus or train ride from the airport. Several rental car agencies are available at the airport. Trains and buses are available from Rome and northern Italy. Major highways make travel by car relatively easy.
