Shamania, is a celebration of the ancient Celtic festival of Lugnasadh, known latterly as Lammas which is usually on or about 1st August. The festival celebrates this, the first in the trilogy of harvest festivals in 30 acres of beautiful North East Lancashire countryside.
The organisers hope that participants of the Shamania Festival will feel that they are creating a difference; and, via non-local connectedness, that they are actually making a positive contribution to the evolution of our species collective consciousness.
Shamania took a year out in 2009, and another in 2014 and it's yet to return.
