Serpentine Sessions 2010

Serpentine Sessions is a three day event held in a specially designed area in London's Hyde Park on Monday 28th June, Tuesday 29th June and Thursday 1st July.

Line-up

Grizzly Bear, Patti Smith and her band and Laura Marling are to headline each night of this intimate series of concerts with a capacity of just 3000 per night. Other acts include Efterklang, Fionn Regan, Fanfarlo, Dawn Kinnard, Peggy Sue, The Boy Who Trapped the Sun, Smoke Fairies, Eliza Doolittle, Magic Arm, Memoryhouse, and Alessi's Ark.

The event was established to support artists on independent record labels and allow concert goers to enjoy prestigious, hard-to-see acts in a stunning location. More acts will be announced soon, including the main stage support, and the three acoustic acts per night, who will also be playing on the smaller bandstand stage. All bands are playing at different times, so concert-goers have the chance to see every act playing.
