Redcar Rocks 2011

Redcar Rocks Music & Comedy Festival is due to take place at Mackinlay Park, Redcar, in North Yorkshire on Saturday 9th July 2011.

The event will features a dozen bands, 12 Comedians, in 2 Big tents, and a silent disco.

Line-up

Acts confirmed include Sham 69, Danny and The Champions of the World, The Watchers, Ska-Boom, The Al Harrington Band, Twister, Gladstone, Soviet Disco, Kinfauns, Big Sister, The Rise, and James Hayden. Comedy will come from Phil Nichol, Rob Rouse, Ivan Brackenbury, Rayguns Look Real Enough, Ian D Montfort, Carl Hutchinson, Andy Fury, Kai Humphries, Tony Jameson, Dave Twentyman, Vikki Stone and the Flashbacks, and Phil Ellis.

Tickets

Early bird tickets are no longer available. An adult tickets is priced at £14 or £18 with camping, child tickets are priced at £5. There are also family tickets available, without camping, priced at £30. To buy tickets click here.

Camping

Access to the festival camping area is only possible with a camping wristband available in exchange for a 'with camping ticket' at the wristband exchange at the Main Festival Entrance. There will be on site festival parking available in the parking area adjacent to the main festival entrance. The cost of parking a vehicle on site for the duration of the festival is £4. Access to the camping area is from 10:30am on Saturday 9th July. Camping pitches must be cleared by 2pm on Sunday 10th July.
