The legendary Ragged Hedge Fair is a country fair with a difference, held on a scenic site not far from The Organic Farm Shop near Cirencester.

It aims to be a small ecologically-orientated family event and includes camping, arts, crafts, environmental education, theatre, and music. Bands confirmed so far are as follows; Subgiant, Ska All Stars, Souljacker, Gnashville, Mark Robson, Bonobo Hobos, Cosmic Charlies, Just To Annoy Ray, Mighty Redeemers, Eliza Tale, and Tapan Roy. For full line-up details to date, click here.

There will be no generators on site, and all power will be provided by the wind and sun. There will also be a large Children's Area, a Youth Tent, a Crafts Area for hands on experience, healers, unusual stalls to shop at, organic food and drink, bushcraft training, street theatre, drum workshops, indian classical dance, poetry, performance art, a sculpture trail and even renewably powered internet access.

The festival is trying to achieve their ambitious but achievable goal of zero landfill. They are asking all visitors to minimise waste brought on site, and to remove their own waste on departure. They will recycle cans, plastic, cardboard and paper. All food waste will be composted. There will be no rubbish bins for general waste except for disposable nappies and sanitary waste.
