Calderdale Pride 2012

Calderdale Pride is a FREE event which takes place on Saturday 16th June at The Piece Hall, Halifax, West Yorkshire.

After just four years, Calderdale Pride has grown from a small musical programme into a festival-style celebration of diversity; welcoming all and with attractions for everyone. There are also numerous commercial, craft, food and information stalls offering a variety of goods and information taking place from 12 noon until 7pm.

Line-up

A stage line-up of local and national interest includes Johnny Robinson a headliner, with Valentino King, O'Hooley & Tidow, Chasing Dragons, Whiter Than, Pracilla, singer songwriter Darren Smith, and Calderdale Pride's Got Talent winner.

Help needed

Calderdale Pride need help from local individuals, groups, businesses and organisations to lend their support, be it a cash donation, advertising, or support in kind through the loan of staff time, competition prizes or other resources. Organisers say that they have some "really exciting and creative plans in the pipeline" for 2012.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
