e1 Festival 2001


Taking place in Earlham Park, Norwich on August 4th, 2001, from 12 noon to 11pm.

The event will be a multicultural arts and music festival composed of stages for live music, a dance area, performance artists such as jugglers, buskers and local artists, stalls, food, beer tent, crafts, re-enactment societies, kids area and car parking.

NO camping is permitted.

WANGO'S MAIN STAGE: Headspace, Iceni, The Neutrinos, Seize the Day (tbc), Pukromo, Celestial Mine (from the Ukraine), Zone Fluffy, Celtica, P.A.I.N.(tbc), Headmix.
PURPLE STUDIOS STAGE: Overreal, Loveless, Subvert, No Comply, Project Mork, Spot, Lazlo, Moonjuice, Insider, Beach Blanket Bingo, Edison, Leonard, James Michael Cooper.
ACOUSTIC STAGE: Bruce Lindsay, Monroe, Simon Black and Chris Parker, Emma Williamson, Dhyan, Heather Enid Wells, Caroline Martin, Twizzle, Malcolm Fry, Vicky Grady and Jay, Undercover, Andy Woodford, Ian Collins, Shane, Celeste Lovick, Paddy Fairweather.

KIDS AREA: Huge Jart, Inspire Hands-on Science, The Omnibus Playbus, John Rowe (Storyteller), Eco-Buzz, Whirli-gig, Workshops, Facepainting.
DISPLAY AREA: Here Be Dragons, Whitehorse Viking Village, British Hanmundo Martial Arts Displays, Giant Inflatables.
HOLISTIC AREA: Mathemagix, Kantara Krafts, Meditation, Feng Shui, Astrology, Herbalism, Alternative Therapists, Psychics.
PERFORMERS: Dancing Flames, Innyerface, Entertainment Factory, The Palm Tree Faeries, Fluffy Balls, Buskers, Samba Band, Walkabout Artists around the site all day.
MULTI-MEDIA ARTS: 2 Bit TV, Loony Module, Water Sculptures.
ECO CORNER: Hemp Expo, Greenpeace Sirus Solar Generator, Friends of the Earth, Amnesty International, Norwich Cycle Campaign, Hemp Expo, RSPB, Alternative Technologies, Contacts & Discussion.
MARKET: Bar, Food Stalls, Arts & Crafts, a variety of stalls and goods.
