====================
One Love Peace Festival returns with two stages, and this year is moving to East London's Mabley Green to transform it into a tropical fairground on Sunday 15th July 2012.

The Contemporary Stage: Rev Run, With DJ Ruckus, T-Pain, Chip, and more TBA.

The Heritage Stage: Bunny Wailer, Barrington Levy, Capleton, Luciano, Khago, I-Octane, and Stylo G.

Ethos

In light of the ongoing 'Broken Britain' crisis, organisers of the 2011 One Love Peace Festival aim to reaffirm their 'Throw away your Guns, Throw away your Knives' initiative by echoing the sentiments of Jamaica's original One Love Peace Concert where headliner Bob Marley famously united opposing leaders on stage to bring an end to the country's political civil war.

Tickets

Tickets are priced at £45.

Peace fund

This year the organisers will be launching The Peace Fund which will act as a long-term charitable trust fuelling varied outreach activity including the development of youth centers, outlets of parental support and local mentoring schemes offering coaching, advice and support to the frontline in Broken Britain.

On site

Other features on the day will include guest DJs, comedy corners, fairground rides and an international food village offering cuisines from each corner of the globe.

More info

Since its inception in the UK, the One Love Peace Festival grew from strength to strength with the staging of a number of large and highly successful events around the country. This event marks 30 years since the passing of Bob Marley and will celebrate the life and times of the King of Reggae with a series of themed sets.
