Nyodema 2011

Nyodema World Music & Arts Festival is a FREE all day event is a celebration of world music and art set by the Sussex seaside at The Waverley, Marine Drive West and takes place from 2pm to 10pm on Saturday 20th August 2011.

Line-up

Planetman and the Internationalz, Claude Bourbon, Rattlin Bone, Slim Lightfoot, the Nyodema Drummers and the Nyodema World Community Choir.

Entertainment

This family friendly event will also drumming and dance workshops, craft stalls, auction and raffle - raising funds for children's health and education projects in The Gambia, West Africa. Morgana Villan will demonstrate her flamenco/belly dancing fusion as well as running a workshop. There will also be two drumming workshops from Chris Diallo from Hands on Skin.

Fund-raising

Whilst this is a free event, the organisers hope to raise funds through donations with all proceeds going towards their children's health and education projects in The Gambia.
