The third NorthSide festival for 20,000 people takes place in the river valley by Soren Frichs Road, Aarhus, in Denmark and expands to a three day event held from Friday 15th to Sunday 17th June 2012.


Latest additions: Eagles of Death Metal, Bombay Bicycle Club, Lukas Graham, and Freja Loeb.

The Stone Roses, Snow Patrol, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Emeli Sande, Bat For Lashes, Garbage, Kasabian, The Kooks, The xx, Mumford & Sons, The Hives, The Gaslight Anthem, Miles Kane, Little Dragon, The Asteroids Galaxy Tour, Marina and the Diamonds, Choir of Young Believers, Oh Land, Noah & The Whale, Justice, The Temper Trap, James Blake, Dune, When Saints Go Machine, Turboweekend, Malk De Koijn, and Kashmir are the first of the international acts for Northside 2012. There is no camping area, nearby camping sites are named Blommehaven or Aarhus Camping. There also several hotels and hostels in Aarhus, early booking is recommended.

More info

The city festival is located in the centre of Aarhus, approximately 2 km from the central train station. Children and adolescents are welcome at the festival and there is free entrance if you are under 12 years old and accompanied by a paying adult. Organisers do not recommend arriving at the festival area with children after 6pm for security reasons. Tickets for carers of those with disabilities are available.
