Noisily Festival returns for a 9th time to  a new woodland site at home Barkestone Wood near Grantham in Leicestershire, and the dates are from Thursday 6th until Sunday 9th July 2023.

Unfortunately, due to disappointing ticket sales, the organisers of Noisily have had to reduce capacity for this year’s event.

As a result two new stages, The Nest and The Hollow, have been cancelled. Instead the festival will focus on its core existing and much loved stages.

Noisily is a festival which aims to celebrate the individual, but it also aims to cultivate understanding in the collective, and what it means to be human in today’s world, through music, arts, psychedelic culture and creativity.

This year's festival explores the theme, 'We are Nature' through a wide variety of paid workshops. For more details and ticket prices, see under Mind, Body and Soul, below.

Phase 5 tickets are now on sale, priced at £217 including fees.

Note: over-18s only.

Forest theme

In keeping with the site, structures will be made out of materials found in the forest, so the festival fits into the landscape rather than sits on it. Carpenters are already busy designing the woodland furniture and The Treehouse stage, while a decor team hope to ensure that the whole forest will be visually stunning. Music stages are licensed until 6am all weekend with bars licensed until 5am.

Over 18s only

Noisily is an entirely over 18 event, no children will be admitted. All attendees will be ID'd on entry so please don't forget it, and anyone under 18 will be refused entry, so please do not attempt to buy tickets if you are underage, you will not be refunded.

Booze limit

Each person is usually limited to 8 beers or a bottle of wine. This will be for consumption in the campsite and no alcohol will be allowed into the main arena. No glass will be allowed onto site and bags will be searched on entry and excess alcohol and glassware will be confiscated.

Mind, Body and Soul

Over the four days, this year's theme 'We are Nature' will be explored through a variety of paid workshops, as well as curated experiences, talks and healing practices to nurture, feel & celebrate our living connection with the Earth. Paid workshops include yoga, essential oils, fermentation using wild herbs, breath with shamanic journeying and cacao ceremonies, healing through music and dance, and creative opportunities to make a bracelet, totem or amulet.

Prices range from £10 - £40 plus booking fees. Tickets for workshops can be purchased here.

More info

Set in a woodland playground in the rolling Leicestershire countryside less than one hour from Kings Cross, Noisily is billed as "a fully immersive environment, allowing 2,000 attendees to truly let themselves go for an entire weekend of unrestrained hedonism."

Noisily is also a place of artwork, performance and participation. Attendees are invited to get involved and be a part of Noisily, whether it be just by dazzling the crowds with dance moves or designing and building an interactive art installation.

More information will be here when available.
