Napton Festival 2008

The second 'Festival of Music' at Napton was originally due to happen on Friday 12th and Saturday 13th September 2008 with twelve hours of music on offer over two stages. However it had to be postponed at the last minute due to bad weather.
It has now been re-scheduled for Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th November 2008 at a new indoor venue The Assembly, Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.
The organisers are now re-staging the festival in the new venue which will not be subject to the unfortunate British weather and have not yet finalised festival details. Ticket holders are asked to hold on to tickets as these will be valid for the rescheduled festival. Saturday 13th tickets are valid for the 15th November and Friday 12th tickets are valid for 16th November. Alternatively tickets for 2008 can be used for the 2009 Festival - date to be announced.
A wide range of music is still promised featuring the planned headliner Bad Company on the Saturday with eight other bands. Sunday has Jilted Generation, and six other bands. A revised band line-up is expected shortly for both the Saturday and Sunday of this event.
There are expected to also be trade stalls, a bar, and food available. The festival profits are donated to several local charities.
Tickets were available at a price of £20 for adults, £15 for children, and £45 for family tickets. Children under 5 are admitted free.
The cost of the camping fees paid will be refunded. The organisation is not in a position to refund monies for tickets purchased for the Festival. For those who cannot or do not want to attend the revised date for the postponed Festival the 2008 ticket will be valid for the 2009 Napton Festival. Anyone who purchased a ticket close to the event date would have been informed that they could be collected on arrival at the gate. As the event was postponed this could not happen and these tickets were posted out a.s.a.p. after the postponement.
