Moonfest 2009

MoonFest takes place at Storridge Farm, Westbury, Wiltshire on Sunday 30th August and offers 14 hours of dance, rock and funk music for all the family.

Justin Hawkins with his band HotLeg are the headlining act. Supporting them will be a mixture of bands both local and from far a field to suit all ages and tastes. Other confirmed acts include The Woody Hill Band, Ulysses, The Volt, 4th Street Traffic, Innes Sibun, The Log Off Band, D-Jamer b2b with Little Stuart, Rob Triskele, and Eatstatic.

There will be two stages, both of them inside marquees in case the Bank Holiday weather turns wet. The larger of the two, the Moonfest Marquee, will be where the louder and better known bands will play. The smaller stage inside the Eclectic Marquee will be very chilled out with an unplugged acoustic style to it.

Tickets are priced at £20 for adults, children under 16 tickets are priced at £10, and children under 14 tickets are free. To buy tickets, click here.

World Freestyle Helicopter Pilot Dennis Kenyon will be there with a full display routine, and model helicopter display pilot Paul Heckles and his team will be putting on an aerobatic display at night. Plus street entertainers, fire jugglers and magicians are also planned.

Westbury Train Station is less than a mile from the festival entrance.

The site will be open at 10am on Friday the 29th August with music licensed until 2am and alcohol/food sales until 3am.
