Milton Keynes World Picnic 2011

World Picnic One Day Festival takes place on Sunday 24th July 2011. The event is organised and run by the Milton Keynes Parks Trust and held in Campbell Park, Milton Keynes. This will be the fourth year of this free one day festival.

The picnic takes place from 1pm - 6pm and is free to all. You can take a picnic, relax and soak up the free festival atmosphere, showcasing international dance, music & cuisine.

Line-up

There are no acts confirmed yet for 2011. Included in the line-up will be a ten metre pink pig with an animatronic head, babies made from vegetables parading around in a giant old-fashioned pram, DJs on stilts and abstract street dancers arriving in a London taxi.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
