Meadows in the Mountains 2013

Belgium's Meadows in the Mountains, takes place in Belgium's Rhodope mountains at a tiny mountain village of Smolyan, just south of the capital, Sofia near the Greek border from Friday 7th until Sunday 9th June 2013.

The line-up so far Baby Prince, Mt Wolf, Nick Monaco, San Proper, Moomin, Northern Purpose, Demob Happy, Jane Fitz, The Common Tongues, Just Jack, Sebastian Voigt, The Colour Movement, The Priory, Bruno Schmidt, Dead Echo, Mirko Hecktor, QVC, Carlos Valdes, and many more.

Tickets

Tickets are priced at £95 for the weekend, with camping. To buy tickets, click here.

Camping

Camping is available in the surrounding meadows to the festival site. If you bring your own tent you are allowed to pitch up free of charge.Or tents can be hired at £4 per night per person. 1 man, 2 man, or 10 man tents are available. Or there's village accommodation priced from £8 to £18 per night per person.

Activities

Other Meadows In The Mountains activities include Horse & cart taxis, mountain zip line, downhill grass bobsleighing, death slide, horse riding, waterfalls, mountain walking, thermal spring, hammocks, local village life and locally sourced food.

Getting there

The closest airport is Plovdiv which also has good international rail links. There are shuttle services from the airport to the festival (2½ to three hours) priced £15 per person.
