Merthyr Rock 2012

Merthyr Rock returns even bigger for a second year to take place at Cyfarthfa Park, Merthyr Tydfil, in Wales over three days from Friday 31st August until Sunday 2nd September 2012.

Line-up

The first acts confirmed are headliners Razorlight, Skindred, and Kids in Glass Houses, also confirmed are Deaf Havana, Lower Than Atlantis, Futures, We Are The Ocean, Exit Ten, Future Of The Left, Straight Lines, Shadows Chasing Ghosts, Reaper In Sicily, Dead Wretched, The People The Poet, The Lash, The Undivided, Saves The Day, Yashin, and Arcane Roots, expect stages showcasing established acts alongside new talent. There will be loads of on-site extras, which will be announced across the summer. The festival will take place in a tented village to ensure that whatever the South Wales weather may be, the audience will stay dry.

Tickets

The early bird offer has ended. A weekend ticket priced at £65, day tickets are priced at £20 for Friday, and £25 for Saturday or Sunday.

Merthyr Rock is a 14+ years only event and under 16s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Camping

This event does not have camping onsite but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area. Camping at the nearby Grawen Farm is £15 per person, for 3 nights (Fri, Sat, Sun)
