The second 'Festival on the Pier' will take place on Saturday 28th of May 2011 at the Victorian Sun Lounge, a quarter of a mile into the Irish Sea, on the end of Blackpool's North Pier.

Line-up

The first act confirmed is 3 Daft Monkeys, Emily Barker & The Red Clay Halo, Troubadour, Jon Brindley, Rae Morris, Dan Wilde, Spiral Scouts, Jilly Riley, Pan, Ghost Trains, Andy Stones, Gaia and The Magdalenas.

Tickets

Tickets are priced at £15 for adults, £10 for those aged under 14 (must be accompanied by an adult), Family Tickets (2 adults, 2 children) are priced at £40, and those aged under 4 can attend for free. To buy ticketsclick here.

On site

There will be an arts & crafts stall, licensed bar, food stalls & children's entertainers. The festival will run from midnight until late with a acts encompassing Acoustic, Blues, Folk, and Indie. The ambience of the venue will be enhanced with Persian carpets, cushions and fairy lights.

Not for profit

This year's festival will be run as a non-profit organisation and any monies made will be poured back into future events to support live, original music.
