Fuse Medway Festival is a FREE event. The weekend celebration of arts and creativity will take place from Friday 14th to Sunday 16th June 2013.
This year's event promises to bring even more colourful sights and sounds to Medway's open spaces, from vibrant street theatre to world-class dance and circus acts.
Fuse Medway Festival will be a free celebration of arts that is different, diverse and daring. They aim to showcase some of the best emerging and established performers from across Medway and Europe. They are also working with hundreds of local residents from many community groups.
The FREE Fuse Street Arts Day on Saturday features Street theatre, dance, circus and music including ME4 Writers' The Word Shed, Dizzy O'Dare presents... The Wonderful World of Mr E, Rebecca Ashton's The Sirens of Cetham, Small Wonders Commission, Commotion Dance with Little Artist: Big Painting, Reckless Invention's Comedy Waiters, The Pressure Company's Tone Float, Matt Pang's Thingamabob, C-12's Trolleys, Markmark Productions' The Maniax, Granny Turismo, Musical Ruth, Canopy's Dolly Birds, Bread & Butter Theatre's Dinner Ladies, Garaghty and Thom and Stuff and Things. The FREE Fuse Saturday night spectacular features Chutney In the Street by Kulijit Bhamra, and Transe Express.
On Sunday it's the FREE Fuse Big Picnic with Obstinate Oswald and the Monster of Mud, Street theatre, dance, circus and music including ME4 Writers' The Word Shed, Dizzy O'Dare presents... The Wonderful World of Mr E, Small Wonders Commission, Commotion Dance with Little Artist: Big Painting, Jelly Rollers' The Dragon, Handmade Theatre's Flying Machine, Plungeboom's The Allotment, Bureau of Silly Ideas' Shirt or Squirt, Circle of Two's Bambolina and Dodo, La Navet Bete's Extravaganza, Fried Gold Theatre's Ratty, Mole & Mr Toad, Flying Buttresses' Pongo, Garaghty and Thom, Frolicked's Tabitha the Victorian Ghost, Rag and Bones Trundlehonk and Pif Paf's Bee Cart, and workshops.
The Fuse finale on Sunday is also FREE and features Lost In Translation Circus La Ballade de Bergerac.
