The Magnificent Severn is an annual event held on the Awre Peninsula, celebrating The Severn Bore - a wave caused by the tide that sweeps inland for around 20 miles. The festival is held on the banks of the River Severn offering music, surf, ecology, talks, heritage, food, film, art, camping, and cider.
The event was cancelled in 2011, and not returned properly since.
