Lowender Peran takes place from Wednesday 17th to Sunday 21st October 2007 in Perranporth, Cornwall, and is said to be Cornwall's biggest Celtic Festival, featuring performers from Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Brittany, the Isle of Man and Cornwall.

Lowender Peran festival has a relaxed, family friendly atmosphere, and includes concerts, ceilidhs, workshops, sessions, singing, storytelling, poetry, film and a large Celtic craft market.

Headlining this year are Dochas, Mabon, and Giveway.
The programme is as follows:
Wednesday, 17th October: Festival Party Night.
Thursday, 18th October: A Ceili / troyl in the afternoon followed by an evening concert featuring Dòchas, a Cornish Troyl, and a Manx Ceili.
Friday, 19th October: A Lowender Peran Walk in the afternoon followed by an evening of storytelling, an acoustic concert, Irish Ceili, and Troyls.
Saturday, 20th October: A pageant and workshops plus an afternoon concert featuring Mabon. In the evening there's a Singers session, Troyl, Breton Fest Noz, and Welsh Twmpath.
Sunday, 21st October: Dance and workshops in the afternoon plus a concert featuring Giveway. Evening events include a Celtic Dance Spectacular plus Troyls and Ceilidhs.

Perranporth is a beautiful Cornish seaside town with 3 miles of golden sandy beach to walk along at low tide when you're not busy dancing, playing music or listening to stories.
