The Limetree Festival was a three day music and arts festival set amongst the surroundings of Limetree Farm nature reserve at Grewelthorpe near Ripon.
Since 2008 this annual event focused on returning to how festivals used to be before they became these big corporate enterprises that they are today.
With so few festivals in the north and those that there are, tend to be highly commercial and expensive. The organisers wanted to offer people something different, with the last one happening in 2012 as the recession took hold of the country.
