Lichfield Festival 2015


The 34th Lichfield Festival offers a range of music and other arts events this year from Friday 3rd July to Sunday 12th July 2015 at Lichfield cathedral and the Garrick Theatre, Lichfield, Staffordshire.

Line-up

The music programme includes The Sacconi Quartet, Amy Harman, BBC Big Band, Chethams School, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra With Lahav Shani & Jennifer Pike, Jeffrey Skidmore, Daniel Pioro, Eliza Carthy & The Wayward Band, Ex Cathedra Summer Music, Gwilym Simcock With Wolfgang Muthspiel & Julian Arguelles, The Final Shout, Heartfelt, The Sacconi Quartet, Jonathan McGovern, Joseph and Maia, Julian Lloyd Webber With Jiaxin Lloyd Webber, Jon Boden & Sacconi Quartet, The Sacconi Quartet, London Klezmer Quartet, Magic Flute, Michael Morpurgo, Nine Dais Wonder, Michael Petrov With Alexander Ullman, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment With Rodolfo Richter, The Sacconi Quartet, Septura Brass, Soh-Yon Kim, The Three Belles & The Bevin Boys, and Yuanfan Yang.

Ticket prices vary depending on event, some are free.

The majority of the concerts and other events are expected to take place in Lichfield's medieval cathedral and in the Lichfield Garrick Theatre. There will be other performances in Lichfield district and around Staffordshire. In total over 70 music, literary, film, theatre and associated art events will happen at a variety of venues, as well as a programme of education activities for school groups and individuals. There will also be two large-scale, free events.
