London International Arts Festival 2012

London Live will take place at Ilford Town Hall in Ilford, East London from Friday 10th to Sunday 12th August 2012.

Friday

Matinee Concert: Dhruv Ensemble, Carnatica Brothers.
Evening Concert: Anja McCloskey, EYOT.

Saturday

Matinee Concert: Shyamala & Hariharan, Prakash Sontakke.
Evening Concert: Jyotsna Srikanth Project, Dr. Balamuralikrishna.

Sunday

Matinee Concert: 'Rabindranjali' Dance Ballet, Dr. Suma Sudhindra.
Evening Concert: Robert Atchison & the Ormesby Ensemble, Pushkala Gopal Dance Group, Ozgen, La Internacional Sonora Balkanera.

There will be three stages offering live music and featuring local, regional and national performers in genres including World, Jazz, Classical, Electronic and Contemporary.

Tickets

Tickets are priced at £60 for a weekend pass, or £20 for Friday or Sunday, and £25 for a Saturday day ticket. With Matinee and Evening only tickets also available.

There will also be indoor stalls, Asian cuisine and beverages, and children's activities. The Vine Church Hall in nearby Holstock Road will be hosting the four workshops on Saturday 11 August. These will cover Indian drumming, Bollywood Hungama (singing/playing), the traditional music of Vojvodina (part of former Yugoslavia) and Mexican traditional music.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
