The Laughter Festival 2016

The Laughter Festival takes place from Friday 10th to Sunday 12th June 2016 at Cabourne Parva, in the Lincolnshire Wolds.

Line-up

The Laughter Festival is the culmination of the 5th annual National Laughter Week, and offers family-friendly workshops in laughter, song, dance, and play; and live music and entertainment. There are no acts confirmed yet for 2016.

An early bird adult weekend ticket is priced at £76 and includes Laughter Yoga Conference, vegetarian buffet lunch on Friday, camping, the Laughter Festival, live music, breathing space and all workshops. Children under 12 go FREE but must be accompanied by an adult.

The event's not-for-profit goal is to share happiness, health and wellbeing across the UK and beyond.

Bringing together some of the most progressive ‘positive’ thinkers and featuring some of the most respected ‘happiness’ teachers and practitioners, the Laughter Festival is a 100% participatory event, co-created by those who attend.

Normally the site is a working family farm.

Volunteers

Organisers are still taking a few more volunteers who are expected to work at least 3 x 3 hour shift and get a meal voucher after each shift plus free entry to the festival for all weekend.

Disabled facilities

The site is essentially pretty flat and easy to navigate ( unless there is torrential rain ). The toilet facilities are reasonably roomy but not purpose built for wheelchair users. However, no stairs or large steps.
