Lapstock 2007


Lapstock - Music at the Mill is a one-day festival offering an eclectic mix of music, performers, and workshops plus bar and barbeque. Open from 12 noon to around 10.30pm, the line-up is already well on the way to being finalised, and will include acoustic and electric British and American folk, rock, contemporary country, world music, bluegrass, and swing.

Performers booked so far include: guitarist composer, Jerry Cahill; singer-songwriters, Chris Ellis & Celeste Lovick; classic rock from Time Machine; original songs & contemporary country music from Broken Road; ragtime guitar, bluegrass banjo & vocals from Gary Spencer; British & American folk songs from the Castle Town Boys; plus big band swing from the Albert Hall International Show Band; and Crediton's World Music Choir.

Workshops include a Whole Body Painting event, native American flute, and storytelling for children and adults.
