Lakeside Magic features a series of concerts ranging from jazz, and proms, to opera and tribute bands. This has become a popular event for families of all ages and includes a fireworks finale every evening plus camping facilites for those who wish to stay overnight.
This year's programme is as follows:
Thursday, 12th July: Acker Bilk and his Paramount Jazz Band plus Humphrey Lyttelton and his Band.
Friday, 13th July: The Lakeside Proms with the Brandenburg Sinfonia and Marilyn Hill Smith.
Saturday, 14th July: One Night of Queen with Gary Mullen and The Works.
Sunday, 15th July: Pink Floyd Off the Wall.
TICKETS
Tickets are now on sale. You can purchase them from their website, or telephone 01305 751631. Tickets are priced at a slightly higher rate for seating, either on the terrace or in deck chairs. If you are happy to sit on the grass, you can get these directly from Kingston Maurward Visitor Centre and from Tourist Information Centres in Dorchester and Bridport.
Camping
Camping and touring caravanning facilities are available for all 4 nights. Please book directly with Kingston Maurward College on 01305 215123 and/or download the booking form from their website and send to Kingston Maurward. The cost is £10 per unit per night (includes up to 6 people per unit).
