Kingston Green Fair 2007
Monday 28th May 2007Canbury Gardens, Kingston upon Thames, Surrey, England MAP
£8 adults, £5 concs, £2 kids, £10 family - on the gate on day. Community currency welcome.
Taking place on Bank Holiday Monday, and open from 11am until 8pm, the Kingston Green Fair promotes the use of green technologies, powered only by sun, wind and bicycles. There are around 100 artistes who dance, sing, play, perform and speak.
Music comes from Kindred Spirit, The Monks from Tashi Lhunpo Monastery, Lisa Knapp, Martha Tilston, John Otway, Jono McCleery, and more - click here for the details.
As well as stalls selling fair-trade goods, there are many stalls including organic and vegetarian food, and there are extensive activities available for younger visitors in the Kidzone.
Keep in the spirit of this event - use public transport!
PARKING: There is no parking on site (except for a few disabled spaces). Please don't park in Lower Ham Road - this is emergency access. Use the public car parks nearby.
