Kennyfest is a two day rock festival in Sunderland, which is in memory of a local musician by the name of Kenny Brown.
Kenny was a popular person on the local gig circuit and was instantly recognisable due to his meteor emblazoned wheelchair. Kenny went onto become one of the first disabled driving instructors in the UK. Sadly Kenny passed away in June 2006 and Kennyfest was born in his memory.
2012 was the last year for Kennyfest.
