Jersey Live 2009


The dates for the sixth Jersey Live are confirmed as Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th September 2009. The site's opening and closing hours are midday to midnight on Saturday and midday to 11pm on Sunday.

The Jerseylive Festival is an indie/dance festival staged in the Royal Jersey Showgrounds, Jersey, in the Channel Islands, off the coast of France.

Confirmed so far for 2009 are Basement Jaxx, who will headline the Main Stage on the Saturday, and The Kooks headline on the Sunday. Other confirmed acts include 2manydjs headlining the Dance Stage, Dizzee Rascal, Doves, Jack Penate, Passion Pit, Frank Turner, The Whip, Golden Silvers, Andy C & MC GQ, London Elektricity & MC Wrec, Beardyman, Birdy Nam Nam, DJ Yoda, Dan Le Sac & Scroobious Pip, Annie Nightingale, Twisted Wheel, Casiokids, The Boxer Rebellion, Esser, and more. A weekend ticket is priced at £81.89, and single day tickets are £49.96, a child under 12 weekend pass is priced at £5.15, and coach tickets are an additional £5.

Children under 12 are not permitted into the Theory Dance arena. It is recommended that children under 5 are not brought to the festival.

All remaining tickets available to purchase from the Jersey Telecom shop in Queens Street, St. Helier, Jersey.

Disabled Customers
There are toilets and easy access to all areas. Guide dogs are the only animals permitted on site.

As well as bars there will be a food village on site, no food is allowed into the festival. The festival will also feature the Cream Tease Stage, Silent Disco, Spiegel VIP, Guilty Pleasures Tent, and a forest of flags.

No glass, umbrellas, tents, chairs, bottles, cans, containers, alcohol or food is permitted at the festival. Water up to 500ml per person is permitted. CCTV cameras will be in operation around the festival site.

This a a non camping event, security will remove anybody camping in the area. There are registered campsites available.

There is a shuttle coach service running round trips to the festival from People's Park in St Helier. There is parking for 800 cars but organisers strongly recommend that festival goers use the shuttle coach service.
