Innerleithen Music Festival 2016

The 14th Innerleithen Music Festival takes place from Friday 19th to Sunday 21st August 2016 at Innerleithen, in the Scottish Borders.

The festival takes place in a small town surrounded by hills just 30 miles south of Edinburgh, and features concerts with well-known names from the world of celtic music plus many supporting events covering both traditional music and other genres.

Line-up

Booked so far are Boreas, Emily Smith Duo, Fisher Lassies, Henry Douglas, Kieran Halpin, Manran, Merlin Music, Rachel Sermanni, Scott Gardiner & Johnny Kemp, and The Barra MacNeils.

The early bird offer has ended. Tickets are priced at £56 and provide entry to the 5 concerts at the Memorial Hall. Buying individual concert tickets would cost £65. Under 16s are £25.

Other events

Lots to choose from - workshops, free music all weekend at the Vale Club, an historical walk, busking competition, late night festival club, singaround and a rock session.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping though there is a small local campsite, with more camping available in nearby Peebles. Early booking recommended! There are also a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
