Isle of Bute Jazz Festival 2011

The 24th Isle of Bute Jazz Festival takes place on May Bank Holiday Weekend from Friday 29th April until Sunday 1st May 2011 in Rothesay on the Scottish Island of Bute.

TT J Johnson & His Band, Penman's Jazzmen, Bobby Wishart Group With Special Guest, David Newton, Carol Kidd, Bill Salmond's Louisiana Ragtime Band, That Swing Sensatio, Richard White's Fivers, George Rodger's Gypsy Jazz, Chicago Teddy Bears Society Jazz Band, Hermie Longalong Quintet, Mike Whellans, Swing Guitars, George Macdonald's Folk and open Mic Sessions, Bute Ceilidh Band, Fingal Mccool's Blues Band, Tim Saul Trio with Bute Jazz Friends, Academy Swing, and Jenny Brown.

Tickets

A Weekend Rover Ticket is priced at £45 and allows entry to the Pavilion Jazz Club & Jazz Café evening entry only, and covers all venues except Picnic Three bands each night and an evening with Carol Kidd. A Friday night ticket is priced at £15. A single session/castle picnic ticket is priced at £6. Saturday or Sunday night tickets are priced at £15. To buy tickets, click here.

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
