Started in 2009 Hungry Pigeon - The Northern Quarter Festival is an annual event taking place on the last May Bank Holiday Weekend in Manchester's Northern Quarter.
As well as the music this event offers a full schedule of live art, poetry, short films, U18s events, art exhibitions, busking and even its very own Northern Quarter art treasure trail.
Organisers announced they were taking a year out in 2011, and the event has not returned.
