Highest Point is a new festival taking place at Williamson Park, Lancaster on Friday 18th to Sunday 20th May 2018.

Organised by the team that brought about A Wing at Lancaster Castle and last years sell out Hacienda Classical show, the 3-day city festival will be offering free, family orientated performances between 10am-4pm and ticketed partying from 4pm until late, Highest Point will host to a variety of acts for all ages and tastes.

During Saturday and Sunday daytime, thousands of guests are expected to enjoy free family orientated performances including walking theatre, live art, bands and DJs.

Line-up

Friday's evening entertainment from 5pm is from drum & bass label Hospital Records, expect the likes of High Contrast, Fred V & Grafix, Danny Byrd, Spy B2B Nu:Tone, Dynamite MC, Lowqui and Tempza. In addition, London Elektricity Big Band will be heading their first gig in the North, bringing together a 22 piece brass band and vocalists for a powerful and unique transformation of a live Drum and Bass show.

Saturday has Ocean Colour Scene, Embrace, Cast & more, while Huey Morgan, The Two Bears and more are on The Dell Stage, with Rae Morris and more on the Chris Glaba Memorial Stage (BBC Introducing).

Sunday evening is Hacienda Classical, the project curated by DJs Mike Pickering and Graeme Park, joined by Manchester Camerata orchestra with a brand new show for 2018, performing a continuous set of signature Hacienda tracks, with K-Klass & more.

Tickets are on sale, priced at £40 for Friday, Saturday or Sunday (18+ only). A weekend ticket is priced at £100.

£1 of every ticket sale will be passed on to Macmillan Cancer Support.
