Green Man Fayre 2008


Green Man Fayre is build as a mini green gathering in East Anglia. The event runs from Friday 15th to Sunday 17th August on a farm in Suffolk with camping for a limited number of people.

The acts confirmed for 2008 include on the Friday Twisted Routes, Hodmedod, Pinky Umbrella, with Headspace headlining the evening. Saturday night Monkey Spanner headline, supported by Gadjo, The Harvs, Frock, and more acts to be confirmed. Sunday's line-up includes The Vagaband, Kiss The Mistress, and others.

Other artists confirmed include Adrian Nation, Dead Like Harry, The Grymoire, Golden Star, Grant Beardsley, The Harvs, I Said Yes, Killamonjambo, Lost Highway, Loose Leaf Drifters, The Nazdrove House Band, Penny McLaren Walker, Reg Rabbit, Tilly The Talespinner, Wurpy Quade, and WeirdofMouth.

As well as the music from live bands on various stages, there is also film, performances and cabaret on green powered stage and cinema. Camping is free, there will be a low price bar, food, craft stalls, healers, kids activities, a mini fair ground, campaigns area, local projects, creators and more.

Friday night is the evening of the masked ball as well as costume competition time. There is a deposit to be paid on glasses as we need to minimise waste; bring your own tankard! Do not bring animals. 25% of profit will go to charities.

Over the course of the weekend there are walkabout acts by Rambling Roses & Scratch Productions, Theatre Of War and more, also interactive workshops, kids workshops, the mini fairground as well as food with vegetarian options available.

Tickets are priced as follows: a 3 day pass: adult £45, Family (2 adults +2 children) £100, children 8-14 £15, under 8 - £5. Vehicles are £5 each. To buy tickets click here.
