The Hardraw Gathering 2011

The Hardraw Gathering is a held in the Yorkshire Dales at the Green Dragon Inn, near Hawes, Wensleydale from Thursday 28th April until Monday 2nd May. Offering concerts, real ale, and other activities designed to appeal to those who particularly like good folk singing with a touch of humour.

Line-up

First acts confirmed for 2011 are New Rope String Band, and Ian Bruce headlining with Uiscedwr, Jez Lowe, The Young'uns, Other Roads (formerly The John Wright Band), Winter Wilson, David Newey & Christi Andropolis, Tattie Jam, Holly Taymar, Isis, Skeyin, and 309s.

Tickets

A weekend ticket in advance which allows access to all three concerts is priced at £60 per person for the full weekend including 3 exclusive concerts, a Sunday afternoon extra concert (outdoors if fine), singarounds, sessions and a songwriting workshop. An extra cheap ticket rate will be available for camping+ sessions and daytime events only. If any spaces remain in April, one day tickets may be made available at a cost of £25 each. Extra day

As the Royal Wedding means an extra Bank Holiday the Gathering weekend will now be able to begin early on the evening of Thursday, April 28th with an Open Mic competition.

Camping

Camping available on site for weekend ticket holders at a price of £10. This year there will be more camping space will be available plus re-furbished indoor camping rooms and heated shower and toilet block available on the main Green Dragon campsite.
