Gig in the Park 2010

Gig in the Park takes place from Friday 6th to Sunday 8th August near the pretty market town of Halesworth in Suffolk. There are three stages, the Main Stage, the Intermediate Stage (playing between main stage acts), and the smaller Jungle Stage, which is situated at the back right hand corner of the park, featuring local talent of all ages and offering music, dance, and comedy.

Line-up

This years event will be headlined by The Undertones, supporting on Saturday will be Baskery. Friday will be headlined by Showawaddywaddy. Friday will also feature the Amplifier Project Showcase featuring young musicians from the local area, and Jon Allen. Lee Vasey and his big band headline Sunday night with support from Hot or Wot.

Tickets

Weekend tickets are priced at £30 for adults (£37 on the gate) and £19 (£24 on the gate) for kids under 14. Children aged 5 and under can attend for free. A weekend family (2 adults & 2 kids) ticket is priced at £80 (£90 on the gate). Day tickets are also available priced at £12 for adults on Friday/Sunday or £17 for Saturday. There will also be children's entertainers, craft and food stalls and an extensive range of real ales on sale in the beer tent.

On the Friday, it is expected to once again run from 6.30pm-11pm, Saturday from noon until 11.45pm, and on the Sunday from noon until 11pm.
