Graspop Metal Meeting 2009


Graspop Metal Meeting is a metal festival held at the festival park De Boeretand in Boeretang, Dessel, Belgium, located approximately 50km northeast of Antwerp (Belgium) and 35km southwest of Eindhoven (the Netherlands). The festival takes place from Friday the 26th until Sunday the 28th June.

The acts so far confirmed include:
Friday: Mötley Crüe, Heaven and Hell, Papa Roach, Buckcherry, Dream Theater, Down, Blind Guardian, W.A.S.P., Exodus, Pestilence, Lääz Rockit, The Gathering, Samael, Jon Oliva's Pain, Firewind, and Taake.

Saturday: Slipknot, Killswitch Engage, Hatebreed, Lacuna Coil, Volbeat, Mastodon, Gojira, Parkway Drive, Legion of the Damned, Black Stone Cherry, Kataklysm, Wolves in the Throne Room, Dagoba, Negura Bunget, and Keep Of Kalessin.

Sunday: Marilyn Manson, Disturbed, Trivium, Anthrax, Epica, Devil Driver, Sacred Reich, Eths, God Forbid, Scar Symmetry, and August Burns Red.

Ticket prices
Combi tickets are priced at 135 euros (approx £120). This ticket includes access to the festival grounds on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, access to the campsite & parking area, shuttle service from Mol station to the festival grounds and back between Thursday 25 June (10am) and Monday 29 June. Also included: one outward journey and one return journey, second class, from any Belgian train station to Mol station between Thursday 25 June (10am) and Monday 29 June.

Day tickets cost 69 euros (approx £60) on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. This ticket includes access to the festival grounds on Friday, Saturday or Sunday; shuttle service from Mol station to the festival grounds and back between Thursday 25 June (10am) and Monday 29 June. Also included: one outward journey and one return journey, second class, from any Belgian train station to Mol station between Thursday 25 June (10am) and Monday 29 June. Access to the campsite and parking area are NOT included. Day ticket holders must buy a one-day camp ticket (approx £13) to enter the campsite.

Camping tickets allow day ticket holders to spend the night on the camping site. A one-day camping ticket costs 15 euros (approx £13) per person and is valid on the same day as your festival ticket, from 8 am till 12 noon the following day. One-day camping tickets will only be sold at the box office of the camping site itself!
