Getaway Rock Festival 2013

The fourth Getaway Rock Festival, the heavy metal festival with camping in the Swedish countryside returns to Gasklockorna, Gävle, in Sweden from Thursday 8th until Saturday 10th August 2013.

Tickets

Three day tickets with camping are priced at 1695 kr (approx £160). To buy tickets click here.

You must be at least 13 years of age to enter the festival site, 16 years for camp sites. Are you 13 or 14 years, you need to be accompanied by an adult. Anyone who is born in 1997 or later - whether they turn 15 before or after the festival - can attend on their own.

Camping

The campsite opens on Wednesday at 4pm and closes on Sunday at noon.

Getting there

There are charter flights, as well as rail links to Sweden. Gävle is located 174 km north of Stockholm. The train journey from Stockholm is just shy of of one and a half hours, or a two hour drive by car. You can also go by train from Arlanda Airport the nearest airport.
