Fringe in the Fen 2013


Fringe in the Fen is a week long music and arts festival taking place in Fenstanton from Saturday 6th until Saturday 13th July in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Line-up

Prime Brass, East Anglian Chamber Orchestra, Fen Massed Choir, The Choir of Clare College, City of Cambridge Brass Band, Cor Llanddulas Male Voice Choir, Morwenna Del Mar, O Duo, The Dmitri Ensemble, Fred's House, Superstition, Hedgepig, John Rutter, Anne Denholm, Jackie Barnett, Solomon's Knot Baroque Collective, The children of Fenstanton and Hilton Primary School, Michael Buchanan, Augusta Hebbert + Kate Symonds-Joy + Daniel Joy + Samuel Queen + William Vann, and Dan Forshaw, to name a few.

Throughout the week there will be a number of events taking place from John Rutter¹s Come and Sing day to Proms in the Park along with a range of music concerts from blues and swing to choral and classical. Kicking off the festival is a Family Fringe Day, where a variety of performers and artists will perform at different locations in and around Fenstanton.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
