FOR Festival 2014

FOR Festival, returns for a 2nd year to the island of Hvar in Croatia, with 4 days of programming across multiple venues from Thursday 19th to Sunday 22nd June 2014.

During the day, attendees can swim in the aqua Mediterranean waters, or explore the island’s historical sites. Every evening, live performances will take place at Hvar's Veneranda (a converted monastery), followed by a boat ride to carpe diem Beach for a party through the night.

Friday: Haim, Temples, Mark Ronson (DJ Set), Tensnake, Tiger & Woods, and more TBA.
Saturday: Neneh Cherry with Rocketnumbernine, Mø, Erlend Øye, Psychemagik, Baio, Fort Romeau, and more TBA.
Sunday: Darkside, Movement, Maurice Fulton, Storm Queen (DJ Set), Daniel Wang, and more TBA.

Weekend passes are priced at 220 euros + BF, or day tickets are available priced at 55 euros.

The weekend pass offers entry into the live shows at Veneranda and the all night parties at private island carpe diem Beach, from Thursday to Sunday. This event is structured as a music experience inside an island vacation, with a very limited amount of tickets available, no clashing performances, and a schedule that allows for activities such as boating, winery visits, and mornings spent on the beach.

There are hotels, campsites, apartments and villas and even boats all within close proximity to the festival.

Getting there

Hvar is an ancient Croatian island in the Adriatic Sea, located off the Dalmatian Coast. The island is accessed via a short ferry or catamaran trip from the port town of Split, with Split also the nearest airport.It is a 40 minute drive from Split Airport (also known colloquially as the Resnik Airport; airport code SPU) to the ferry. Buses and taxis leave regularly from the airport to the port and all major and local car rental services are available at the airport. Bus tickets can be bought at the airport and ferry terminal and they are approximately €5 each way.
