Summer FenFest 2009

FenFest is a music festival held in the Fens around Cambridge, about 20 miles north of Cambridge off the A10 Trunk road. The event takes place on August Bank Holiday weekend 2009, from Friday 28th until Monday 31st August 2009.

The festival takes place over one evening and three days with three nights camping. The Festival has four Stages: Vixen, Winter, Oak, and Acoustic. The event will also have a festival radio station (licence permitting) full of acoustic performances and interviews playing late into the night.

Vixens Main Stage: will be full of loud, lively, sexy and vivacious performers.

The Oak stage: for punk and metal acts with attitude.

Winter Stage: offering assorted indie, Latin, electronica, folk rock, world music and other performers.

Acoustic Stage: for singer songwriters and soft traditional music.

Confirmed for the FenFest Summer Festival are headliners Phildel on Saturday, and The Britalians on Sunday.

The price of tickets for the weekend has not yet been confirmed, but is likely to be inexpensive.
