Australia's Fairgrounds, billed as a carnival of music and discovery, takes place in Berry, New South Wales (a little south of Sydney) on Saturday 5th December 2015.

Line-up

First acts confirmed are C. W. Stoneking, Ben Abraham, Father John Misty, Jessica Pratt, Le Pie, Meg Mac, Mercury Rev, Methyl Ethel, Ratatat, Royal Headache, Shining Bird, and Unknown Mortal Orchestra, plus more to be announced. .

Tickets are priced at AU$120 for adults and free for children under 12 years.

The family friendly event offers kids their own area called 'Playgrounds'.

There will be craft beer, cloudy ciders, and natural lagers available, plus wines and local delicacies from neighbouring estates.

Adding to the fun on the day will be an array of field games like twister and badminton for the young at heart. An outdoor cinema will be screening ‘My Neighbor Totoro’ and ‘Searching For Sugar Man’ on Fairgrounds Eve (Friday 4th December), and there will even be a swimming pool if you fancy a dip!

If you’re planning on making a weekend out of it, there’s plenty to keep you entertained. On Friday 04 December the fun kicks off at Fairgrounds’ Cinema Under the Stars, Presented by Madman Entertainment and on Sunday 06 December, the famous Berry Markets will have over 200 stalls selling handmade / hand produced products, arts and crafts, locally grown produce and collectables.

Getting there

There are good international transport links to Sydney, then a coastal bus or train ride to Berry, and a shuttle bus service will be operating from Central Station.
