This festival has been cancelled due to low ticket sales. A message has been posted by the organisers on the official website:-

TO ALL CUSTOMER WHO PURCHASED TICKETS FOR DURHAM We thank you for your loyal support of the 9th annual DURHAM BLUES RHYTHM AND ROCK FESTIVAL but regret to inform you that due to Lack of ticket sales it is impossible for the festival to go ahead this year. You will received a FULL REFUND, and as a gesture of good will you may use your ticket for FREE entry to CLEETHORPES BLUES RHYTHM AND ROCK FESTIVAL for the following date 16th June 2019 at CLEETHORPES MOON ON THE WATER (exactly the same line up as you would have seen at DURHAM).

The eighth Durham Blues Festival takes place on Saturday 15th June 2019 at Chilton Country Pub & Hotel in Houghton-Le Spring near Durham. The event runs from 2pm to 10pm.

Line-up

Confirmed are Mungo Jerry, Connie Lush, John Otway and Wild Willy Barrett, Cinelli Borthers, Connor Selby Band, and Gary Grainger.

Tickets

Tickets are on sale, priced at £30.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
