Derby Folk Festival 2012

Derby Folk Festival takes place at Assembly Room, Derby, in Derbyshire on Friday 5th to Sunday 7th October 2012.

Seth Lakeman, Peatbog Faeries, Jamie Smith's Mabon, Martin Simpson, Coope Boyes & Simpson, Kathryn Roberts & Sean Lakeman, Bob Fox, Peggy Seeger, Elbow Jane, Pilgrim's Way, Dave Burland, Walsh & Pound, Fay Hield & The Hurricane Party, Cupola, Moore Moss & Rutter, Blair Dunlop, George Papavgeris and Los Marbles, Vicki Swan & Jonny Dyer, Winter Wilson, Shuffling Jack Ceilidh Band, Ian Carter, Grace Notes, Folk 3D, Special Show 'Paupers Path' by Mick Ryan, plus the comperes for this year are - Lester Simpson, Chris Sweeney, Mick Peat, and Bob Rushton.

The festival will also offer free camping, stalls, cheap beers, real ales, hot food, and proper toilets.

Tickets

An adult weekend ticket is priced at £72, a student ticket is priced at £36, and a child (5-15 years old) ticket is priced at £18. A family ticket (2 Adults and 2 Children 5-15yrs)is also available priced at £162. Day and evening session tickets are also available. To buy tickets click here.

Parking

Multi-storey car park adjacent to the Assembly Rooms or on Phoenix Street a 5 minute walk from the venue.

Live In Vehicles

Hotel accommodation

The Jurys Inn Derby is the festival's accommodation partner. Situated in the heart of the Cathedral Quarter and less than a five minute walk away. Parking is limited at the hotel (£3 overnight). Additional discounted parking is available at Chapel Street Car Park (£2 overnight). A special festival rate is offered of £41 per room, and the package includes, bed & breakfast for up to 2 people, and 20% off food and beverages at the hotel. Available Friday 5th, Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th October. Early booking is recommended.
