Deddington Festival 2008


Deddington Festival 2008 will take place from Thursday 26th June to Sunday 6th July 2008 in Deddington Village, Oxfordshire, 8 miles from Banbury.

Deddington Festival offers something for everyone this summer. Art Workshops, Open Gardens, Poetry Please, The Flower Festival, Demon Barbers, A Night at the Opera, and for the first year, Deddington FUN and Deddington ROCKS, which together will present an open-air day and night of Festival Fun on the 5th of July.

The following musicians, bands and performances for Deddington Festival 2008:
Stekpanna: Anglo-Scandinavian Contemporary Jazz, on 1st July at 19.30 in Deddington Church. £8, £6 concessions
A Night at the Opera: A gala finale of orchestral and choral music. Artistic Director is Janet Lince, Host is our Patron Brian Kay.
Plus Phil King, Twisted Coalition, Fontaines, The Sirens Call, and Cantaloop who will be headlining at Deddington Rocks, and comedy from John Robins.

Ticket prices vary, with some events free to all, and maximum ticket prices £17. Tickets are on sale now.

During Deddington FUN and Deddington ROCKS there will be food and drink on offer, such as a pig roast, Pimms and the offerings of the many local restaurants and pubs, as well as representatives from the thriving Deddington Farmers' Market.
