Dare 2 Festival 2008


Dare 2 Festival is a family friendly festival which runs from 11am on Saturday 12th July until 5pm on Sunday 13th July at Tollard Royal, Dorset.

The music on offer is an eclectic mix of Jazz, Blues, Indie, Country, Rock and Latin American sounds from predominantly local talent. Confirmed for this year are: Matt Britton, Pete Leonard, James Lane, Airosmiths Air Guitar UK, Triplicate Young Stars, Branflakes, The Lost Pioneers, Framed, Mary Spender, ESB, Citystereo, Neo-Geek, The Daze, Leaving St Francis, Achilles, Zoe Mead, Tim Madden and Coyote Co Jones, Gillingham Youth Jazz Orchestra, Atlantico, Handshake, Jamie and the Lionhearts, Grace Newcombe, JJ Crooner, with more to come.

Music will be performed throughout the weekend interspersed with dance workshops on both days. Festival goers can expect an exciting programme of workshops, music, sport and events covering both days of the festival. A variety of workshop projects started on Saturday will be completed on Sunday and will be displayed or performed on Sunday.

Dare 2 dance, sing, make music, beat a drum, mountain board, walk the trapeze, ride a unicycle, score a goal, learn tae kwondo, get lost in a maze, practice yoga, make beautiful things, toss a pancake, decorate a cake, camp under the stars, sit back and listen to good music. But above all Dare 2 let go and have a good time!

Child (5-17) Weekend £25, Saturday £20, Sunday £15.
