Uncle John Morgy, (Known to you as the Drummer from the Wurzels!), a life-long forester has had a dream about putting on a weekend music festival in Whitecroft, and now it's here!
The very first Dabdown Festival takes place in the heart of The Forest of Dean, hosted by The Miners Arms, Whitecoft on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd April 2012 with some pre-festival entertainment planned for Friday for those arriving early.
Saturday: The Wurzels, Rusty Shackle, Livestock Davies and The Lowdown Snakes, Sian & The Sugardaddys, Dom & Josh, The Smith Identity, The Dukes.
Saturday night in the 'Carriage Room' Tom Browning's Showcase with The Rain, Ellie Higgs, and Rachel Summers.
Sunday: The Cinderford Town Band, Pip & Graham, The Springfield Singers, Club Django Jazz, Don't Tell Johny, Pillowell Band (Seniors and Juniors), Primrose School Choir, St Anthonys School Orchestra, Wild Oats Morris Men.
A day of music and fun awaits in celebration of the forest community, coming together in an effort to raise funds for local needs.
