Crookfest 2014


Crookfest, replaces The Crook Town Festival Of Music, and takes place at Crook Football Club, Crook, in Durham on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th May 2014 from 12noon until 11pm.

The annual event with two outdoor marquee stages and one indoor featuring a mix of original, cover and tribute bands will feature Rebel Rouser Saturday and RockJam Sunday.

New to the festival 2014 will be an all day Saturday line up of Rockabilly/Rock n Roll bands and DJ’s on the Patterson Stage with the Sunday hosting the traditional day of rock tribute, cover and original bands also new to the festival is the inclusion of a Help for Heroes stage this will have a mix Rock Ska and Indie bands playing both the Saturday and Sunday to help raise funds for the charity.

Help for Heros Rock Stage: Alexanders Palace, Ska Mania, The Sugar B’s, sRs, The Me Me’s, The Fabulous Dakers Boys.

Ticket are priced at £15 per day ( £20 gate ) weekend pass £25, but must be accompanied by a paid in adult, tickets can be purchased from Hope St Newsagents Crook Town or online.

Accommodation

The event offer no camping, and no alcohol allowed though gates, however there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
